Creating Ocean-Inspired Games in the Philippines | OceanX Education Hackathon

We brought the OceanX Education hackathon program ashore to De La Salle College of Saint Benilde, in Manila, Philippines. With mentorship from WWF-Philippines and real-world ocean data from OceanX, students were challenged to create games that educate players about marine ecosystems and conservation. The results of the hackathon show how creativity, technology, and storytelling can inspire curiosity about the ocean and encourage new ways to engage with environmental challenges.
