The Goat: Almost Impossible to Tame | Full Documentary

Restless, stubborn, playful and impossible to fully tame — the goat may be the wildest animal on the farm. Born from mountain survivors, goats still carry the instincts of cliff-dwellers: sharp senses, perfect balance, strong social rules and a constant need to explore. In this episode of Into Farm Animals’ Minds, we follow goats from experimental farms to sanctuaries, from newborn kids learning their mother’s voice to feral herds reclaiming the wild cliffs of Ardèche. Scientists reveal a surprisingly intelligent animal: goats can read human expressions, ask people for help, recognize voices, remember their young, sense emotions in bleats and navigate complex herd politics. Behind the horns, the beard and the bad reputation lies a sensitive, clever and untamed mind. #goat #AnimalIntelligen
